NEOHIO Street Survival 2017 @ Lorain County Community College
Oct 21 @ 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
NEOHIO Street Survival 2017 @ Lorain County Community College | Elyria | Ohio | United States

The primary emphasis of the Tire Rack Street Survival® is a “hands-on” driving experience in real-world situations! We use your own car to teach you about its handling limits and how you can control them. The students will become more observant of the traffic situation they find themselves in. They will learn to look far enough ahead to anticipate unwise actions of other drivers. As the students master the application of physics to drive their cars, they will make fewer unwise driving actions themselves. They will understand why they should always wear their own seat belts, and why they should insist that their passengers wear seat belts, too.

It’s about more than driving – it’s about LIVING!

Any questions after reviewing the FAQ page, call Tim Beechuk, Program Manager, @ 864-438-2060 (8 am – 8 pm EST).

Neohio SCCA Points Event #7 – 2017 @ Captain's Lot, Eastlake
Oct 22 @ 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

Neohio SCCA will hold its seventh and final Solo points event on October 22!

UPDATE: Get into the spirit of Halloween! We’ll be holding a contest for best decorated car, so get creative! Three cars with the best “costumes” will win a prize and be featured on our website and social media. Drivers don’t need to wear costumes, but we won’t stop you. Safety is still number one, so try to make sure your decorations won’t become obstacles on the course.

Due to the location of this venue, there is a possibility of noise complaints from the adjacent apartment complex. We want to be respectful and considerate of our neighbors. During tech and during the event all cars will be observed for sound limits, 100 decibels measured at approximately 75 feet. If you exceed the limit, you will be given the chance to resolve the issue. If the issue is not resolved, unfortunately we will not allow you to continue running.

Please, no open headers, and at the very least your car should have mufflers. If you think your car is at risk, do what you can to resolve it either before the event or come prepared to fix it in the paddock.

If it is determined that you cannot run, we will work with you on a refund or credit towards another event. Finding (and keeping) good pavement is no easy task; we don’t want to jeopardize our relationship with the city. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
