Since our new venue is located within the city of Eastlake, we know there might be issues with noise complaints. There is an apartment complex near by, and there is a history of complaints from a few years ago.
PLEASE BE ADVISED! If your car is excessively loud, we might have a problem.
During tech and during the event all cars will be inspected for sound limits, 100 decibels measured at 75 feet (+/-). If you exceed the limit, you will be given the chance to resolve the issue. If the issue is not resolved, unfortunately we will not allow you to continue running. At the very least, your car should have mufflers. If you think your car is on the fence, either do something about it before the event or come prepared to fix it in the paddock. Because this is a new venue and we’re still figuring things out, if we decide you can’t run we will work with you on a refund or credit towards another event, where hopefully the sound issues of your car will have been resolved.
We have worked very hard to find a site to run, so we don’t want to jeopardize our relationship with the city. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
The City of Eastlake lot is at the corner of Vine St. (Rt 640) and SOM Center Rd. (Rt 91) and the entrance is off Vine Street. Please look for our signs. We are NOT using the Classic Park lot off SOM Center Road.
