SUMMARY:2024 Tire Rack SCCA Cleveland National Tour
DESCRIPTION:National Tour \nIf you are looking to experience the best sites\, the best courses\, and the best competition – either in preparation for Solo Nationals or to see where you stand against the best – The Tire Rack® SCCA Solo® National Tour is for you. \nKnown as “The Road to Lincoln\,” each National Tour event is run in a similar format to the season-ending National Championships in Lincoln Nebraska. National Tour events prepare drivers for their National Championship and typically offer tougher competition than Regional autocross events. \nThese events average more than 275 drivers at each of the various locations across the country with most of the competitors coming from nearby states. These drivers come together to get a taste of the “Nationals” experience of competition and camaraderie. \nNational Tour competition takes place over two days with a different course each day\, just like Solo Nationals. Drivers get three runs on each course with their best time from each added together for the final class standings. Runs are timed to 1/1000th of a second and knocking a cone down means a penalty of 2 seconds added to that time. All classes at National Tours are the standard Solo classes that you’ll find at Solo Nationals and in the SCCA in the Solo Rulebook. \nSCCA Starting Line will be hosting a Starting Line Driver’s Edge Experience at I-X Center\, in Cleveland\, OH in conjunction with SCCA’s Tire Rack Cleveland National Tour. This weekend-long experience is geared toward those new to National Tours. The SCCA Starting Line Driver’s Edge uses a team of successful autocross veterans who remember what it was like the first few times they pulled up to the starting line to make a run on the big stage of national-level competition. \nIn short\, you’ll be given the tools and an explanation of the ins and outs of a Tire Rack National Tour event\, arming you with the information to conquer the event without the intimidation factor that comes from doing something new. Our coaches will walk you through the event information page\, talk about run/work assignments\, teach you how the grid works\, what to do at impound\, and the information available to you at the driver’s information center. \nMost importantly\, our championship-level coaches will help you throughout the weekend\, checking in to help answer any questions that come up\, touching base in grid before your run heat\, and providing support and encouragement along the way. Think of them as your big brother or big sister for the weekend! \nThere is NO CHARGE to take part in the Starting Line Driver’s Edge Experience. If you are a driver that is new to National Tours\, we encourage you to sign up and take part! \nFor more information about the Starting Line Driver’s Edge\, as well as other Starting Line programs\, please contact Tracy Lewis at tlewis@scca.com. \nYou can take part in the Starting Line Driver’s Edge program and not the Evo Advantage Driving School and vice versa (or both!). Make sure the correct entries show up in your cart when checking out. \nEvolution Performance Driving School will be hosting their Evo Advantage Driving School ahead of the Starting Line Driver’s Edge on Friday morning. This school is great for any skill level\, from seasoned veterans to the complete novice\, and allows participants to get some great seat time as well as instruction before the weekend’s competition. Instruction will take place on the event’s Test & Tune course and is a scaled-down version of their Phase 1 School. The program will net students a minimum of 12 runs with Evo’s team of National-caliber instructors. The Evo Advantage Driving School is not limited to Starting Line Driver’s Edge participants\, nor do you have to take part in both the School and the Driver’s Edge programs if you do not wish. \nThe Evo Advantage Driving School is limited to 24 students and is $125.00. Two-driver cars are allowed\, just make sure to enter the other driver’s name in your entry when asked. \nFor more information about the Evo Advantage Driving School\, as well as other Evolution Performance Driving Schools\, please contact Mike “Junior” Johnson at mike@epdsinc.com. \nYou can take part in the Evo Advantage Driving School and not the Starting Line Driver’s Edge program and vice versa (or both!). Make sure the correct entries show up in your cart when checking out. \nNeither the Starting Line Driver’s Edge program nor the Evo Advantage Driving School are required to attend the National Tour. They are additional offerings to help drivers maximize their weekend. \nYou must be an SCCA member in good standing to participate. If you are not currently an SCCA member\, please visit the SCCA member portal to join or renew. \nRegistration Fees: \nRegular online Tour entry – $145\nOn-Site (Late) Tour entry – $175\nStarting Line Driver’s Edge – $FREE\nEvo Advantage Driving School – $125 \nFor more detailed information\, please visit the event page by clicking here. \nEvent requirements \nInitial cap – 255 \nFinal cap – 270 \nStarting Line Driver’s Edge cap – 24 \nEvo Advantage Driving School – 24 \nYou must be an SCCA member in good standing to participate. SUMMARY:2024 Tire Rack SCCA Cleveland ProSolo
DESCRIPTION:Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo® Series\n“America’s Premier Autocross Championship Series” \nThe Tire Rack SCCA® ProSolo® Series is an adrenaline-pumping autocross format where solo isn’t solo. Drivers still run a course by themselves\, but start off side-by-side drag racing style and attack mirror-image courses to see who gets back to their respective finish lines first. \nIn contrast to a standard 3-run autocross\, ProSolo class competition takes 1.5 days where each driver gets three sets of runs to put together the best run from each side. Class winners are determined from putting the best right and left side runs together. \nAfter class competition\, it’s time for challenge rounds. The first is a bragging-rights Bonus Challenge drawn at random\, a Ladies Challenge for the top-performing ladies class drivers\, and the big one – the Super Challenge\, which pits the top 32 drivers from regular competition into challenge bracket competition at its finest!. \nWhere other top-level SCCA Championships like the Tire Rack Solo Nationals® and The Runoffs® are single-event winner take all competitions\, in SCCA ProSolo competitors earn Challenge points throughout the season toward the Overall Ladies and Open ProSolo Championships. Class Season Championships and the Overall ProSolo Championships are determined by combining regular-season points with points earned at the ProSolo Finale in Lincoln\, Nebraska. \nRegistration Fees:\nYou must be an SCCA member in good standing to particiapte. Columnar “tulip” style route instructions\, with Official Mileages for all action points (similar to a stage rally routebook)\, will be used. The ~165 mile route will wind through Ohio’s Geauga\, Ashtabula\, and surrounding counties.\nThe rally’s difficulty will be dictated by prevailing road and weather conditions. Competitors should come prepared to spend extended periods outside in severe winter conditions. \nIn an effort to help teams with limited prior timekeeping experience stay on schedule\, and to mitigate the possibility of “double jeopardy” penalties from carrying a timing error through multiple controls\, parenthetical perfect cumulative leg times will be provided at all speed change locations.\nThe rally will count toward both the SCCA Great Lakes Division (GLD) Rally Championship\, and the SCCA National Touring Rally (NTR) Championship (Divisional Rally).

SUMMARY:Neohio Region\, SCCA Street Survival 2025
DESCRIPTION:Do you worry about your teenage driver or know someone who does?\nThe Tire Rack Street Survival® Program is meant for you!\nMotor vehicle accidents are the number one cause of death for teenagers in the US. In fact\, more teens die as a result of motor vehicle crashes than from drugs\, guns and violent crime combined.\nThe Tire Rack Street Survival® program is a teen safe driving program designed to go beyond driver’s education and give our young drivers the hands-on experience and tools to become safer\, smarter drivers. The program provides:\n• Trained\, qualified in-car driving instructors and classroom educational experience for each student.\n• Hands-on educational driving experience in real-world situations teaching teens car safety and control in their own vehicles\n• Challenging driving situations\, including skid control and emergency lane change on closed courses allowing students to experience abnormal vehicle behavior in a safe and supervised environment\n• A greater sense of awareness regarding sharing the road with other vehicles and focusing on controlling the student’s own vehicle\nNeohio SCCA in cooperation with Drive Team is bringing this program to Northeast Ohio at the Drive Team Facility\, 4445 State Road\, Peninsula\, Ohio on Sunday\, April 6\, 2025. The program runs from 8 AM to 4 PM. The registration fee is $125 and includes continental breakfast and lunch. The program is open to drivers 15 to 23 years of age on a learner’s permit or a regular driver’s license. To sign up\, go to\nDrive Team Inc. at www.streetsurvival.org

SUMMARY:Stars and Stripes Endurance Experience Races
DESCRIPTION:SCCA Race Experience / Endurance Experience events are focused on your chance to go SCCA wheel-to-wheel racing at lower peak levels of performance and pressure than SCCA Road Racing Events. This means you get to race with a little less pressure\, a lot more coaching\, and rules as simple as we can make them without compromising safety and good on-track attitudes and approaches. \nThis is a great way to get your Club Racing car on track and do an Endurance Race with your friends\, crew\, and family that would otherwise not be able to drive the car. \nThis is a great introduction to SCCA Racing for cars that meet Club Racing Safety Specs\, but do not fit into one of our classes. \nThis is a great event to get an older competition car back on track.
