Solo Nats Early Registration Deadline Is, Like, Totally Near

(Admittedly, this is but a humble reminder regarding early registration ending for the Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships, but for you ’80s fans, it’s likely a 30-minute distraction…)

Early registration for the 1980s themed 2022 Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships, taking place Sept. 6-9 in Lincoln, Neb., ends Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 12:01 a.m. CDT. Anybody not already entered might as well jump on the opportunity to register for only $195 before the late entry price increases to $325 per entrant. So, do the right thing and sign up now!

Entrants can avoid any risky business by being aware that the cancellation fee also increases (from $50 to $100) at 12:01 a.m. CDT on Aug. 10 for all entries made during early registration – and there is a no-refund policy for late entries at the $325 level.

But enough of the grody details – let’s talk about the bodacious fun awaiting the Solo Nats mötley crüe on Sept. 6-9, 2022, as everyone heads to Lincoln Airport in Nebraska – our home sweet home away from home.

This year’s theme is – in case you somehow missed it – Back to the Eighties, and those already registered for the event will need to make their own die-hard decision on Thursday, Aug. 11, when the individual paddock spot selection procedure opens online at SCCA.com.

Get in on that process early, because when it comes to wanting to paddock near your friends, as Gordon Gekko said, “Greed, for lack of a better word, is good.”

And while you’re teasing out big hair or searching stores for neon Jams, don’t forget about SCCA’s Solo National Championships contingency programs. Current programs include cash and prizes from Hawk Performance, Eibach Springs, Falken Tire, Hoosier Racing Tire, Mazda North American Operations, and Toyota/TRD. Solo Nationals contingency registration is completely free and hella easy.

Don’t miss this year’s event because it’s bound to be a thriller.
