It’s a well-accepted fact in SCCA’s Solo community that the more stickers and decals a car has, the faster it is. Whether that is scientifically true or not, decals and stickers sure make a car look faster, and cooler. But more importantly, the right stickers in the right places can earn Tire Rack Solo Nationals participants free stuff thanks to contingency sponsors.
The tiered registration process for the 2021 Tire Rack Solo Nationals begins soon, which makes this the perfect time to introduce the contingency programs for this year’s event taking place Sept. 6-10 at Lincoln Airpark in Nebraska. The fantastic group of corporate partners who have stepped up to support Solo participants includes automakers, tire manufacturers, brake manufactures and other companies that make and sell motorsports-related equipment.
A full rundown of contingencies can be viewed at the Solo Nationals Contingency Webpage. Many opportunities require pre-registration with SCCA and/or with the sponsoring company. Details and instructions to register for each of these programs are also available at the SCCA Solo contingency webpage. It is the responsibility of each competitor to make sure they are in compliance with each program for which they would like to enroll.
