June 1, 2021
Early this year—on the heels of a challenging 2020 season and continued COVID-19 restrictions—SCCA National Staff outlined three options being explored to ensure that a 2021 Tire Rack Solo Nationals would be held, whether in Lincoln or not.
Today, after significant planning (and a whole lot of finger crossing), SCCA is excited to announce that the 2021 Tire Rack Solo Nationals is officially headed back to Lincoln, complete with four full-strength days of competition and camaraderie we’ve all grown to love, September 7–10.
The event will, once again, see the traditional Tuesday/Wednesday and Thursday/Friday run dates. A host of key registration dates have been posted, as well as the individual class run dates.
For most, registration for the event opens on Wednesday, July 7 at 3:00 PM Central. But past champions, event chiefs, 100%ers, podium finishers and Silver Circle members should make a note of the following special dates.
Registration for 2019 Champions, 2021 event chiefs, and 100%ers (those who have been to every Solo Nationals) opens on Wednesday, June 23 at 3:00 PM Central.
Registration for 2019 podium finishers, supplemental and undersubscribed 2019 class winners, and Silver Circle members opens on Wednesday, June 30 at 3:00 PM Central.
Early registration for Nationals is encouraged as competition numbers will be assigned on a first come, first served basis, with the event capped at 1,300 competitors. The cost to register through August 10 is $195 per entry. After the August deadline, the cost of registration increases to $325. August 30 is the last day to register online. Those that register prior to August 10 may receive a full refund at any point prior to September 3.
