On April 22, Neohio held our first annual Day of Motorsports event at Nelson Ledges. A Day of Motorsports is a recruitment event designed to give interested participants a look into the world of motorsports. While the weather was less than stellar, we had an amazing turnout. We have over 130 people attend the event, with 85 of those being non-members of SCCA.
At the event, we had presentations from SCCA, Hawk Brakes, Hoosier, RaceKeeper, and Automic Autosports. Most of our programs and specialties were represented and were able to talk to potential members about the different aspects of each program and specialty. We also had safety and fire demonstrations along with ride-alongs.
