Over the weekend, the Neohio Region of SCCA traded their flags and helmets for a microphone, at our annual Intro to Motorsports event held at Boss Pro-Karting. This event was geared towards people interested in motorsports, but who were not sure where to begin. Attendees were invited to stop watching from the sidelines and join us at the track. At the event, we had presentations that covered an overview of SCCA and all the programs and trackside opportunities available. Each presentation was extremely engaging and informative, which had the 95 participants captivated and asking questions. After an informative presentation, potential members were able to test their racing skills on the karting track. Amazing conversations were had and connections were made that could bring a lot of interest to SCCA! We would like to thank our sponsors: Atomic Autosports; DEI, Summit Racing, and Race Keeper. Thank you to Cars and Coffee Cleveland for the coffee, donuts, and car show! We would also like to thank all of the SCCA members who took time out of their weekend to share their passion for motorsports. This was definitely the most successful Intro to Motorsports event to date!
