Mazda Supports Drivers at the Solo National Championships

Mazda Supports Drivers at the Solo National Championships

Each year, Mazda Motorsports joins more than a thousand enthusiastic autocrossers at the Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Championships in Lincoln, NE, for a week of competition, fun, and camaraderie – and the upcoming 2022 event is no exception.

Kicking off the Sept. 6-9, 2022, Solo Nationals week, Mazda Motorsports will help host the SCCA Women on Track brunch, which takes place on Monday, Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Tire Rack Event Center located on site at Lincoln Airpark. There, SCCA Women on Track will have snacks, games, free T-shirts, and prizes at the ready. The SCCA Women on Track brunch is open to all women at the Solo National Championships, although preregistration is required, which can be found here. Sign up now, as registration closes on Monday, Aug. 29.

Next up, Mazda will host a dinner on Tuesday open to all drivers of Mazdas and Mazda-powered vehicles. The dinner will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Tire Rack Event Center, with prizes being given. There’s no registration for the Mazda dinner, although there is a requirement to use Mazda power during the Solo Nationals. With roughly 230 drivers already registered for the 2022 Solo National Championships in Mazdas or Mazda-powered vehicles, this dinner is sure to be a can’t-miss event.

This comes in addition to Mazda’s generous contingency offerings. At the Solo National Championships, Mazda Motorsports pays $800 for a win, $500 for second, $250 for third, $175 for fourth, and $125 for fifth. In addition, Mazda offers a $150 bonus for any female who finishes second to 10th in an Open class.

In the SCCA Autocross season leading up to the National Championship event, Mazda offers contingency programs for the Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Tour and ProSolo Series.

For more information about Mazda’s programs, check out the Mazda Motorsports website. SCCA contingency information can be found here.
