Members of Neohio Region, SCCA enjoyed a fun evening at the Annual Meeting November 18th at Boss Pro-Karting in Cleveland. Everyone enjoyed pizza, wings and salad for dinner while the Program chairs presented a brief overview of activities from the past year. Election ballots for Officers and Trustees were collected and counted (including online ballots) and preliminary results were announced at the end of the night.
While the counting was taking place, 33 folks participated in a three race go-kart championship. After two rounds of qualifying, drivers were separated into A-main, B-main and C-main race groups. The fact that the lap time difference from the fastest to the slowest qualifiers were basically 2 seconds made for some very competitive racing. Eric Baun managed to hang on for the A-main victory once again!
Final election results will be announced once certified at the December 2nd Region Board Meeting.
