After a five year hiatus, Neohio Region, SCCA is back in the Tire Rack Street Survival business. Event Lead Bryan Hall has been steadfast in his commitment to resurrect this program in our region. His patience and persistence finally paid off on Sunday, April 6th.
After a few prior endeavors to come up with a suitable venue, member Lisa Hinkle connected us with owner Drew Salyer of Drive Team, Inc. in Peninsula on Old Rt. 8. The facility was about as perfect as one could imagine and Drew and Lisa were wonderful hosts.
Today 13 students are more skilled and more aware as drivers thanks to the efforts of the 13 volunteers who came out to make the program work. Check out the pictures to see what the kids experienced. Thanks to all our volunteers for reducing the potential for traffic injuries and fatalities and thanks to our hosts for making this possible.
